She did it. I didn’t know when it would happen, all I knew is that it would be bliss. It sure was bliss. Sofia slept through the night last night, for the first time. I couldn’t believe it. She didn’t even cry or whimper. At 7:30 am she woke up cooing and smiling. I almost cried. I woke up Jeff at 6:30 and he asked, “is it time for her to eat?” I smiled and said, “she's still asleep, she slept through the night.” He then asked, “Are you sure she’s alive?” I knew she was because I had checked on her at 2 am, 4 am, and 5 am. I hope she sleeps like that tonight again and that it’s not just a fluke. I am so grateful to have gotten sleep. It’s been 5 months. She slept 11 hours straight.
In the past few days, Sofia has had a few more firsts.
1. First time in a jogger (Jeffrey bought one for me as an early Mother's Day gift!)
2. First time eating cereal. I really don't think she ate anything. She had that "why are you doing this to me" look that she gives.
She ate her bib more than she did the cereal. |
yeah!! I hope it not's a fluke either, but then you'd be the luckiest mom i have ever known if it wasn't, and there's nothing wrong with that. Did you get a baby trend jogger? I was just saying today how much I LOVED mine, the adjustable shade was so awesome. so happy jogging, and happy five months sofia!
ReplyDeleteOh my heck! I'm so happy for you Jackie! I hope it's not a fluke either. Tell her Tia Heather insists on her doing it again and again. :)
ReplyDeleteSO jealous of your jogging stroller. Totally want one. Grace did the same thing now and then, a rare gift.:) She'll get there. I can't believe she is 5 months! What a gorgeous bebe she is.
